James began his tiling career in 2006, when he was 20 years old in Greater Manchester, UK. He finished his tiling apprenticeship after 2 years and decided to go to work in Australia. After five years of experience in Australia, he continued his education and gained more knowledge within the tile trade. He decided to follow his dream and cycle overland from Australia, England to support a local charity. He completed the 17000km+ trip just in time for Christmas 2015. All of this was done in aid Derian House, a UK children’s charity. After a short 18 month stay in the UK where he continued working in the tiling industry James and his fiancee decided they’d move back “down under” to Christchurch, NZ where they have been for the last 5 years and are now married and have started a family. James has worked on many large-scale projects since he moved to Christchurch, including The Riverside Market, The Central Library in Cathedral Square and Westpac Bank on Cashel St. Canterbury University. There are also many high-end homes in Christchurch, from Fendalton through Ferrymead.
