Junk King accepts a wide range of residential and commercial junk including old furniture and appliances. David Donovan explains that, “We want our customers to feel that they’ve welcomed us into their homes. It’s not just a simple business transaction. They’re really making a new acquaintance and connection with our team,”

The mission at Junk King is to recycle, repurpose, and reuse as much as possible from every junk haul. This goal is more achievable at Junk King South Denver due to the additional location, South Denver and North Denver, and the relationships with local charities, non-profits and recyclers.

“We will take pretty much anything, except hazardous waste, as long as we are able to recycle, donate, or responsibly dispose of it without a special license,” says David Donovan. Junk King’s mission is to recycle, repurpose or reuse at least two thirds of each junk haul.

Metals are found in household appliances and electronic waste. These metals can be harmful to the environment if they are disposed of in landfills. These metals can be used in other products when they are disposed of responsibly. Metals like stainless steel and copper can be recycled, whereas more harmful metals are best kept out of landfills.
