Founder, Steve Goolsby, started out in construction on a framing crew when he was 15 years and went on to become a builder in both residential & commercial construction for many years. After seeing a need for home inspectors with hands-on building experience, he began inspecting houses in 1996. Steve was also a featured inspector on the Clark Howard Show. Jonathan Goolsby is his son and co-owner. He started inspecting houses with his father at the age of 11 and has more than 20 years experience in inspecting homes.

I've had a few inspections done over the last 5 years.....this is the third house I've bought and each time I've had inspections of several houses. This is the first time I've used these guys and they were great. Eli was our inspector and unfortunately I was unable to be there for the inspection this time.....but he was more than helpful after the fact and spoke to me at length on the phone about his findings. He went over every issue and was great at explaining each finding so that I could fully understand. Some inspectors I've dealt with weren't all that great after the inspection,but this guy was as helpful as if I had been on site with him. I highly recommend these guys. Flexible with a short notice schedule, on time, very thorough and took his time to view each issue and explain his findings to me. I am looking at older houses so there are plenty of issues to discuss. Lol. If I need any further inspections I will be calling this guy directly.
